Taxco is world famous for its handcrafted Silver items. All items are individually stamped so that they can be traced back to the manufacturer, this ensures quality control. It is a crucifix showing Jesus on the cross. The cross is in the Ankh style. An Ankh is an ancient Egyptian design, predating Christianity, but which is now used by Coptic Christians as a variation of the Christian cross.
